CHESHIRE COMMUNITY THEATER PRESENTS 2010 SCHOLARSHIP AWARD TO RACHEL BROWN-MCLOUGHLIN

 

     Greg Rubino, Cheshire Community Theater Vice President, presented the 2010 Alvah J. Root Memorial Scholarship check to Cheshire resident and recent  Cheshire High School graduate  Rachel Brown-McLoughlin at the group's August meeting held at the Cheshire Public Library on Wednesday, August 25th.    Rachel will be attending Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, with a major in Theater in September.  The Cheshire Community Theater Scholarship Committee selects one local graduating high school senior to receive the scholarship each year from the applications submitted to the group.  Applicants must live or attend school in Cheshire and be pursuing higher education in theater, music, dance or a related field.
